Hello everyone, My name is Dik Lagerwerff, owner of City of Trees Arbor Care LLC, located in Boise ID. My background started in trail maintenance in Arizona and moved to wilderness fire fighting. As a Hotshot and Smoke Jumper I learned to run a chainsaw efficiently and safely. While I was a wilderness fire fighter I continued my interest in emergency medicine as a WEMT to help my fellow fire fighters when events didn't go as planned. After fire fighting I became a flight medic, continuing to gain life-saving skills. After a time, I changed focus and spent time building custom log mansions all over the US and became very good at what I did. I decided to go back to what I enjoyed, which was climbing and running a chain saw.

    When you need a tree to be climbed and there are no other tree companies that will attempt the job because they can't get a boom lift and crane to it, my background for 25 years as a technical mountaineer, ice climber and rock climber has earned me the confidence to handle any and all technical rope challenges when it comes to trees.
